- Begin with the Jeet Kune do on guard position
- Slide the rear leg near to your front leg
- Chamber the knee at 45 degree angle . Pivot the rear leg as well
- Begin the double kick outward and at full peak then immediately recoil the kicking leg
- This action gives you that snap that you need for a powerful side kick
- recoil back to the chambered position and resume your JKD on guard stance
